More Snow - More Snow! Means Great Snowmobiling!

Posted on December 5, 2013 at 11:00 PM Comments comments ()

Great news for our snowmobiling friends!  We keep getting more and more snow to the point we don't know where to put it all.  That means the trails will have lots of snow early in the season. Once you park your car or truck, you never have to "fire up" anything but your snowmobile to get to the hotel or trails, a short 8/10 of a mile away and easily accessible. (See our "SNOWMOBILER"  tab for pictorial how to get to the trails from our property).

One of the most popular bands to perform at Earthwood over the years has been Stubborn Country. Headed by Jack and Nanda Kangas, the group performs classic country tunes and never fails to fire up the crowd with their energy and talent. One of the mainstays of Earthwood Stock for the last three years, Stubborn Country gives the feeling they were born to perform, and they promise to get the bar shaking with songs like 'Ghost Riders in the Sky', 'Jackson', 'I Love this Bar', and 'Proud Mary'. Welcome Pierre!

Posted on February 15, 2011 at 11:13 AM Comments comments ()

The mighty voyageur Pierre, has arrived at his new home, Earthwood Bar, Grill and Motel. The journey itself was quite easy after the extensive amount of time it took to remove him from his previous spot. After initially noticing the head wobbling, Pierre's noggin was removed cleanly, but the base proved to be difficult as advertised to separate from Pierre. Although his lower legs will need repair, we are excited and happy he is finally at the Earthwood. Thank you to Two Harborites and s...
